A BIRD'S EYE VIEW

Sploot is a community-led pet parenting app that was founded in 2019 by Garima Kaushal and Arvan Sahni. Despite the pandemic taking everyone by shock, something better came out of it for the Gurgaon-based couple’s new app. The growth of pet parents in India was starting to rise and the acceptance towards pets of all breeds was finally on its journey towards becoming a reality. With this growth, there was a new need for letting pet parents know who they could lean on and depend on for any help. This is where SPRD stepped in and helped the pet parenting community find more pet parents and pave a path towards a better world for our furry friends.

THE JOURNEY

The association with sploot is mainly focused on amplifying the brand’s visibility to reach more pet parents and members of the community who have the agency to herald a change.

THE STRATEGY

Unlike the traditional route of talking about services and offers, for sploot, the team at SPRD approached the media differently. The focus was on helping pet parents, established and aspiring, to make their lives simpler by offering suggestions and hacks. Through authored articles and podcasts, the conversations drove the importance of having a dependable community when raising a pet, just like one would need a village when raising a child. Parallely, sploot’s services, like dog walking, grooming, and fresh food delivery were highlighted through partnerships. Many influencers with pets came on board to share their honest opinion about sploot’s offerings and strengthened sploot’s vision.
