SPRD is the Agency on Record for Omnicom Media Group India and its subsidiaries OMD India & PHD Media India. Regularly communicating directly with the senior leadership across companies, our team has gained in-depth insights into what the communications giant has to offer, thereby translating the core message to the world through specially tailored, expertly researched strategy & content.
For OMG, OMD and PHD, our objective is to consistently position the leadership and the brand as experts and thought leaders via PR efforts. The key approach to achieving this is by creating media visibility and building narratives which reflect the company ethos, while emphasising the key pillars of client-centricity, data-preparedness, digital transformation and continuous innovation.
We adopted a two-pronged strategy for positioning the brand and leadership team in the media. The first one focuses on building leadership narratives and positioning CEO's and leaders as industry experts in the media, through thought-provoking storytelling and speaker opportunities. The second approach is predominantly via communicating the brand ethos and what OMG as a group believes in. Communication around OMD and PHD as media agencies and what they thoroughly believe in has also been strategized and crafted.
We developed the concept of ‘Be Limitless’ which stands for the combined values of OMG, OMD and PHD as a whole. This narrative or ethos is applied to both the internal and external stakeholders. The concept has now been transformed and integrated into the internal communication, employee engagement initiatives and media positioning in a seamless manner.
Apart from regular feature and long-form communications in the external domain, we also help craft internal communications for leaders, ranging from HR/Talent updates for employees, and the roll-out of digital-transformation-led L&D initiatives, to an extensive monthly newsletter sent out from the India Group CEO’s desk that encapsulates company-wide and agency-specific wins and achievements systematically.

Keeping a track of competitor media coverages and analyzing them on a monthly basis. Through this, we ensure that the client is well informed about their competition and the industry.
Checking for new agency mandates that are being shared by brands with various agencies on a daily basis, creating reports on the data every FT to help the client understand the new businesses in the industry.
Apart from the regular reports, ongoing work is done on Glassdoor via analysis of the competitor agencies to help leader understand current culture, ratings, reasons for leaving, etc.
Tracking the press releases shared by the PR team to know the impact of the release.
